Statement of Faith:
• The Bible
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God (II Timothy 3:16, I Peter 1:19-21, Matthew
24:35). The principles and doctrines of our faith are established by and upon the Bible.
• God
We believe that God is absolutely and indivisibly one (Deuteronomy 6:4). We believe that He is an invisible Spirit (John 4:24, I Timothy 1:17). We believe that God is fully revealed to us in Jesus Christ (I Timothy 3:16, Matthew 1:21-23, II Corinthians 5:19). Jesus Christ is the fulness of God manifest in the flesh (Colossians 2:9).
• Salvation
We believe every man must obey the gospel (Acts 2:38, John 3:5). Every person is born with a sinful nature. We must repent - confess and forsake our sinful lifestyle - and turn to God. We believe in the necessity of water baptism by invoking the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:41, Acts 8:12, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5). We believe in the miraculous experience of receiving the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (John 7:37-39, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6).
• The Church Service
We believe that Christians should faithfully and consistently assemble together (Acts 2:42-46, Hebrews 10:25). We believe in fervent praise and sincere worship (Psalm 150, John 4:24).
We believe in the power of preaching to save those who will believe (I Corinthians 1:21, Hebrews 4:2).
• The Great Commission
We believe the gospel has power to save every person who will believe (Romans 1:16, John
1:12-13, Revelation 21:6). We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to participate in the propagation of the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-49).
